Billing and Make ups

$160/month

1-hour lessons

$310/month

Every student gets 48 lessons per year due to time off for holidays. There are typically four lessons per month. However, some months students will have only three lessons because of the way the dates fall. Other months, students will have five lessons. No matter what day you choose, every student will receive 48 lessons per year. View 2025 holiday calendar for closed dates.

Please don't cancel for a lack of practice

We'll use the session to review skills so you can continue to progress.

Billing

All billing is managed via My Music Staff. Invoices are generated automatically on the 15th of every month and payment is due on the 1st. Invoices are payable by credit card or bank debit only.

If you need other billing arrangements please contact me. I can accommodate most situations.

Make ups and missed lessons

Cancellations with 24+ hour’s notice

Please use the student portal if you need to cancel one or more lessons. You can also use the portal to book your makeup lessons.

Missed lessons

If you do not show for your lesson or do not provide enough advance notice, this is considered a missed lesson, and no make up credit is given.

Make ups and credits

If you are unable to attend a lesson and provide more than 24‑hours notice, you are entitled to a make up credit. Make up credits expire 14 days after the cancelled lesson. You may only have two outstanding make up credits at a time.

Pre-booking make up lessons

If you know you’ll be away, you can cancel your regular lesson and schedule your make up lesson in advance. You can do this all in the portal! I'm happy to help if needed.

How to get started

Book your FREE music discovery session

Our 15-minute music consult is a relaxed, no-pressure opportunity to explore music lessons for you (or your child). Meetings are held in our music studio so you can get a feel for the space, ensuring it’s a comfortable, welcoming environment where you (and your child) feel safe and supported.

During this session, we’ll chat about your goals for the lessons so that we can find the best starting point. We’ll also discuss musical interests—favorite genres, songs, or artists—and how we can make lessons engaging and fun by incorporating those. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clear understanding of what to expect.
