Drum Lessons
Drums bring energy, movement, and rhythm to music in a way no other instrument can. They’re a wonderfully physical and expressive way to connect with sound. Building a solid foundation of timing takes focus, practice, and commitment—but the journey is incredibly fun.

Hi, I’m Barrett. I discovered drums later in my music journey. I started playing because I always felt I didn't have a good way of communicating with drummers I performed with. So, I started taking drum lessons mostly to understand the skills, language, and nuances of drumming. However, I found that I loved the practice that drums require. Learning to play drums well requires focus and dedication. There's a trance-like state that happens when I sit down to practice. Time flies by! Students regularly experience this when at the end of drum lessons they ask "It's over already?!"
Student Testimonials
Shawn DeckerI’m having the best time learning guitar. What started out as a way to connect with my daughter, has turned into my own personal passion. I’m really enjoying the journey. It takes lots of focus… which takes me away from the stress of life. It is so exciting to be able to actually play songs… songs that I enjoy.
