Hi, I’m Barrett. I started my first piano lessons when I was 14. My practice always took a backseat to my main instrument, guitar. However, I started to feel tired of playing guitar in my 40's. So, I dedicated myself to regular piano study. I focused quite a bit on standard piano repertoire for a few years. Soon after, I found that I really loved playing blues and pop songs. There's something special about being able to play songs everyone knows and can sing on piano.

Here are my recommendations for beginners. You will still need a stand, bench, and sustain pedal. If you would like to shop yourself, please look for an 88-key piano with weighted keys.
